What are the Office Hours?

Can we take your rental vehicles to Raspberry Creek car park
Yes, we let our larger higher ground clearance vehicles up to Raspberry Creek Mt Aspiring National Park Rob Roy glacier walk
Do you charge credit card fee’s
No credit card fee’s are charged
Is there a fee for opening in weekends and public holidays
We are always available over the weekends and public holidays – no extra surcharge for opening
Do you provide chains ski racks etc
Ski racks or roof pods are provided on all 4 WD vehicles and some 2 WD vehicles, chains are included in all hires over the winter season – No extra charge for ski racks or snow chains
Do you accept overseas licences
All overseas licences are accepted
We do need international licences or translations for any licences which are not in English
Do you provide unlimited kms
Unlimited kms on all hires 5 days and over
On 1-4 day hires what is you extra km rate
We allow 150 kms per day on all 1 – 4 day hires if exceeded the cost is an extra .20c per km
Do you do long term hires
Yes we can help with long term hires with competitive pricing
Can we pick up and drop off our rental vehicles in Queenstown
We operate a driver service so you have no nasty surprises with damage of vehicle left in the Airport car park – the driver will meet you at arrivals Queenstown Airport or wherever you are staying in Queenstown and drive you direct back to Wanaka – on your return to Queenstown Airport or Queenstown the driver will meet you at our office and either travel with you or drive you back to Queenstown and then return the car to us in Wanaka
Do you allow under 25 years drivers
Yes we do allow under 25 year drivers who just have a higher excess
Is there an additional charge for more than one driver
No extra charge for extra drivers
Can we hire your rental trailer for private use
Yes our trailer which is very easy to manage is available for hire either with our rental vehicles or for hire for you to use to tow behind your private vehicle
Is there an extra charge for excessively dirty vehicles
Normal use including ski field is acceptable, however if extremely dirty an additional charge may apply
Do we need a credit card for security and can we pay with our debit card
Debit cards and credit cards are always accepted for payment - although a credit card is needed for security
Do all drivers need to be present when signing up the agreement
Yes we do need to sight all drivers licences to complete the agreement
Do you offer pick up and drop offs from Clyde rail trail
Yes we can help with Clyde rail trail pick up’s and drop off’s with our driver service
Can you provide a driver if we wish not to drive
Yes – all our drivers are P endorsed licence holders
Can I drop the car off after hours in Wanaka?
Yes we have an after hours drop off.
Can there be more than one driver?
Yes and there is no extra fee.
I wish to hire vehicle long term?
No problem, please just ask us and will work out the best rate possible.
What if I what to extend the car hire?
Please just contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
No problem, please let us know as soon as possible.
We require 10 full days notice for refund of deposit.
If I break the windscreen am I liable to pay for it?
We strongly recommend glass insurance
What if I get a flat tyre?
Flat tyres are the responsibility of the hirer as this has happened while the car is in your care.
However if the problem proves to be a faulty tyre we take responsibility
What if the car breaks down?
Just call us we will arrange a prompt response where ever you are
What happens if I damage the vehicle?
Major damage in excess of the insurance excess will be debited to your card
Minor damage will be assessed to establish actual cost then debited to your card
A $200 administration fee will appy in either situation
